A shocking video has gone viral that shows a ticket examiner and a coach attendant of the Amritsar-Katihar Express assaulting a passenger. Sheikh Tazuddin, identified as a truck driver, was allegedly drunk and attacked the ticket examiner, following which the skirmish took place.
Tazuddin was going to New Delhi from Siwan, Bihar. Two coach attendants, Vikram Chauhan and Sonu Mahato of M2, claim he consumed alcohol with them. The source further adds that he misbehaved with a few female passengers due to the intake of alcohol. TTE Rajesh Kumar confronted him, but Tazuddin attacked the TTE. In this manner, the whole case took a vicious turn.
Assault Caught on Video
The viral videos show the TTE and an attendant kicking and stamping on Tazuddin while hurling abuses. In one clip, the TTE is seen pinning the passenger to the floor, while Chauhan flogs him with a belt near the compartment gate.

Eyewitness Account
Co-traveler Dheeraj Yadav reported that the coach attendant had taken money from Tazuddin to join his drinking session. “The attendant prepared pegs on the seat. After drinking, the passenger misbehaved, leading to the attendant calling the TTE. During the altercation, the passenger slapped the TTE,” Yadav stated.
Railway Response and Action
Railway police intervened on receiving the alert, deboarding the drunk passenger at Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. TTE Rajesh Kumar was taken into custody while Chauhan fled the train and is absconding.
The Railways have suspended TTE Rajesh Kumar and directed him to report to the divisional headquarters in Lucknow. The two attendants involved have also been suspended. Complaints were filed against both the passenger and the attendants by other passengers.
Railway officials have assured strict action against those responsible. Investigations are underway, with efforts to collect statements from passengers who were in the coach during the incident.
