China should not misconstrue India’s patience as its weakness

India is the land of followers of peace and originators of Buddhism and desire to be at peace with one and all especially during the modern times as the resultant devastation and destruction of fully armed conflict would send countries back several centuries. All the progress made by mankind would again be lost as it has happened several times repeatedly in world history.

Despite the Dragon’s provocative action along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), India may have exercised restraint just to avoid fullscale destruction but China should not misconstrue it as New Delhi’s weakness in any manner. Beijing should better realise that India knows well how to pay China back in its own coin when push comes to shove.

There is a thought process that “Lot of Bad can be done to the Good” and expansionist forces all around the world believe in it. They continue with their misdeeds and test the patience of peace-lovers. They finely balance and fine-tune their diplomatic, military and economic might to test others’ thresholds to ensure that it does not result in an outright war.

They resort to a number of means to advance towards their short, mid and longterm goals of total domination. Men see themselves as world leaders controlling trade, growth, resources and people. Their neverending desire is to have everything without realising that, right from the start, they are in infringement of others sovereignty or resources. China today by making false claims of borders and territories is displaying the same urge which has been displayed in world history umpteen times with catastrophic results.

China has been emboldened by its military, economic and diplomatic growth along with likeminded allies. These have been allowed to grow and develop by other countries in the belief that all can grow together and survive peacefully on the planet. It seems China does not agree with that philosophy and it feels that they need to grow before all others, expand territorially and gobble up all the world resources. China has not been shy of its misplaced intention and if required, they would defend these so-called national interests forcefully. India always believed in universal distribution of power and resources all over the world for alleviation of poverty and sufferings of humankind.

“Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” meaning, the world is one family, is the core belief of India. Recent aggression of China cannot be justified by any manner other than attempts to dominate, suppress and humiliate India and Indians and send a similar message to others in the world. Neither they have any claim on anything that belongs to India after the boundaries of our country were delineated as per imperialistic orders nor whatever they have taken militarily from us can be retained by them based on the misconception that we can’t take it back whenever we desire. We only don’t do so to avoid destruction, but when push comes to shove, we may.

India is the land of followers of peace and originators of Buddhism and desire to be at peace with one and all especially during the modern times as the resultant devastation and destruction of fully armed conflict would send countries back several centuries. All the progress made by mankind would again be lost as it has happened several times repeatedly in world history. The populations would suffer and it would again be a long struggle to claw back to developed societies. However, this principled thought of India must not be misconstrued by China as weakness. China must be stopped in its tracks before it causes more agony and pain to its neighbours. China must realise its misdeeds and stop grabbing land of others and subjugating different populations in the belief that it is good for its own country and population. China today stands exposed and is in clear violation of international treaties, United Nations philosophy and ICJ rulings in various parts of the globe.

India needs to pay China and its allies for this evil cause back in the same coin and start, in its own way, restoration of peace in the region by initiating “Dharm Yudh” meaning “Fight for the Right”. World may view it the way it wants to, but the overall intention would be to fight for the right cause of restoring peace and ensuring that it remains that way for long times to come. India anticipates that the UN and other powers on the globe will support and unite for the cause as the intention is humane and just. India exhorts UN to restructure itself and impose strict penalties on violators. All signatories are made to contribute, participate and stand united for the UN charter. National interest priority in contravention to global human and sovereignty rights can no more be justified in today’s world.
