SOUTH-WEST AIR COMMAND CHIEF REVIEWS PREPAREDNESS

Air Marshal S.K. Ghotia, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command (SWAC), visited Air Force Station Jaipur on Tuesday. He was accompanied by Nirmala Ghotia, president, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional). They were received by Group Captain Davesh Singh, Station Commander, Air Force Station, Jaipur, and Poornima Singh, president, AFWWA (Local).

During the visit, AOC-in-C reviewed the role and operational readiness of the station in providing mobile connectivity to the IAF. The Air Marshal was briefed on various Operational, Maintenance and Administrative aspects of the station. The Air Marshal also interacted with the Station personnel and emphasised on operational preparedness.

He appreciated the role of the Station in recovering personnel of South Western Air Command after the lockdown. He stressed upon the use of social media in a responsible manner as well as with better security consciousness. Nirmala Ghotia, president, AFWWA (Regional) visited various ventures run by AFWWA (Local). She appreciated the efforts of AFWWA (Local) in providing essential services to families during the lockdown and Covid restrictions.
